Understandingtheftceelementaryeducationk–6(060)Exam
The FTCE Elementary Education K–6 (060) exam is part of the Florida Teacher Certification Examinations program of the Florida Department of Education. Testing services, including registration and test administration, are provided by the Evaluation Systems group of Pearson. Passing the exam demonstrates the subject area knowledge required for Florida certification in Elementary Education (K–6).
Exam Pattern and Structure
The exam is computer-based and consists entirely of multiple-choice questions. Its four subtests are timed and scored separately, so you can take all four in one appointment or take them at different times. Question counts are approximate because some questions may be unscored field-test items.
