Study Schedules
Purpose of This Section
You need a plan that does three things.
- Covers all tested areas
- Builds retention through spaced review
- Builds exam performance through timed practice
This section gives you ready-to-use schedules and a tracking system you can follow without redesigning your study plan every week.
How to Use Any Schedule
▶ Weekly structure (simple and repeatable)
- 3 days content learning
- 2 days practice questions
- 1 day review and error analysis
- 1 day rest or light review
- Daily session structure (60–90 minutes)
- Warm-up review (10 minutes)
- Re-read your missed-question notes from the last session
- Review 10–15 flashcards or a short “must-know” list
- Core study (30–40 minutes)
- Read one focused subtopic
- Write 5–10 key points in your own words
- Practice (20–30 minutes)
- Do 10–20 multiple-choice questions
Mark each item as:
- Correct and confident Correct but guessed Incorrect
- Error review (10–15 minutes)
For every missed item, write:
- What the question tested
- Why your answer was wrong
- The rule you will use next time
Study planning rules that raise scores
- Rule 1: Study by skill, not by time
- If you miss “confidentiality limits” twice, stop and fix it before moving on.
- Your schedule is a guide, not a constraint.
- Rule 2: Make practice non-negotiable
- Content without practice does not train decision-making.
- Practice is where you learn the exam’s “best answer” logic.
- Rule 3: Use spaced repetition
- Review the same concept at least 3 times across 2–3 weeks.
- Rule 4: Do timed sets early
- Waiting until the last week to do timed work causes pacing problems.
Your Tracking System (Use This Table)
Use one line per skill. Update it after every practice set.
Study Tracker Table
| Section | Skill/Topic | Status (Strong/Moderate/Weak) | Evidence (score or notes) | Next action | Next review date |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 6 | Confidentiality limits | Weak | 6/12 correct | Re-read + 20 Q timed | ____ |
| 3 | Percentile vs percent | Moderate | Mixed errors | Drill 10 items | ____ |
| 7 | Outcome vs perception data | Strong | 9/10 correct | Maintain | ____ |

Benchmarks to Aim For
Early phase (first half of your schedule):
Final phase (last 2 weeks):
Time Budgeting Guidance (Based on 2:30 Test Time)
If your test time is 150 minutes and the test is about 80 questions:
- 150 minutes ÷ 80 questions = 1.875 minutes per question
- That is 1 minute 52 seconds per question.
Practical pacing rules
Pacing Checkpoint Table
| Checkpoint | Target time used | Target questions completed |
|---|---|---|
| 25% | ~38 minutes | 20 questions |
| 50% | ~75 minutes | 40 questions |
| 75% | ~113 minutes | 60 questions |
| Finish first pass | ~135 minutes | 80 questions |
| Buffer | ~15 minutes | Review marked items |
