How the Test Is Scored
Your total scaled score combines the number of selected-response questions you answer correctly and the score on the constructed-response assignment. Scores are reported on a 100–300 scale, and 240 or higher is passing. The score report also shows how you did in each subarea, which is useful if you need to retake the test.
The written assignment is scored holistically by trained Oklahoma educators using four performance characteristics: purpose, subject matter knowledge, support, and rationale. Section 5 explains what each one means and how to write to it.
Test Day
- Bring the identification required in the CEOE testing policies; the name must match your registration.
- At a test center you may take restroom breaks, but the clock keeps running. Online proctored testing allows no breaks.
- Use the tutorial time to learn how to flag questions and how the response box for the written assignment works.
- Score reports are posted to your CEOE account on the score report date for your testing window.
