Exam Overview
The Praxis Physical Science (5485) test is a 150-minute, computer-delivered test of 125 selected-response questions. A periodic table and a table of physical constants and SI unit conversion factors are available as on-screen help screens, and any other constant you need is given in the question. Calculators are not needed and are not provided, so every calculation uses numbers that can be worked by hand.

How the Test Is Scored
Each scored question is worth one raw point, and there is no penalty for a wrong answer, so answer every question. Your raw score is converted to a scaled score from 100 to 200. Your score report also shows how you performed in each content category, which is useful if you need to plan a retake.
