Question 1 · Memorization
Answer: A. Room 118, the Dean's Office
The material states that the student with the red backpack was sent to the Dean's Office, Room 118. Room 122 is where late students report according to the posted notice, Room 110 is the main office that received the copy paper, and Room 104 is the security office where lost property is held.
Question 2 · Written Comprehension
Answer: C. An Emergency Medical Service technician
Paragraph (a) permits only members of the Fire Department and Emergency Medical Service personnel to enter while the alarm sounds. The principal, the Level Supervisor, and a custodian are not in either group, however useful their presence might seem.
Question 3 · Problem Sensitivity
Answer: C. The man near the exit door with no pass or ID who hurried into the stairwell
The adult man has no visitor pass or staff ID, is standing by an exit door, and moves away quickly when he sees an agent, which strongly suggests he is in the building without authorization. The student going to the nurse has a signed pass, the students in Room 212 are unsupervised but are where they belong, and no one was actually observed in the bathroom, so that choice assumes a fact not given.
Question 4 · Inductive Reasoning

| Day | Time | Location | Incident |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mon | 11:40 A.M. | Cafeteria | Fight |

| Wed | 9:05 A.M. | Main Entrance | Disorderly Conduct |
| Wed | 2:55 P.M. | Stairwell B | Fight |
| Thu | 12:25 P.M. | Gym Locker Room | Theft |
| Thu | 2:40 P.M. | Stairwell B | Harassment |
| Fri | 11:50 A.M. | Cafeteria | Fight |
| Mon | 2:50 P.M. | Stairwell B | Fight |
| Tue | 1:15 P.M. | Gym Locker Room | Theft |
| Wed | 12:05 P.M. | Cafeteria | Harassment |
| Thu | 2:35 P.M. | Stairwell B | Fight |
| Fri | 9:10 A.M. | Main Entrance | Disorderly Conduct |
| Fri | 12:30 P.M. | Gym Locker Room | Theft |
Answer: A. Stairwell B, 2:30 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.
Six of the fifteen incidents occurred in Stairwell B, and all six happened between 2:35 P.M. and 2:55 P.M. The cafeteria had only three incidents between 11:45 A.M. and 12:15 P.M. (its fourth was at 11:40 A.M.), the gym locker room had three (only two between 12:00 and 12:30 P.M.), and no Stairwell B incident took place in the late morning.
Question 5 · Information Ordering
Front Desk Procedure: Admitting Visitors. The agent at the front desk must process each visitor using these steps in order:
Answer: C. Call Ms. Castellano to confirm that Mr. Diallo is expected
Steps 1 through 3 are complete, so step 4 comes next: confirm with the staff member being visited that the visitor is expected. Signing the Visitor Log (step 5) and issuing a pass (step 6) come only after confirmation. The Level Supervisor is notified only when the name appears on the Do Not Admit list.
Question 6 · Memorization
Answer: A. New York KLR-5829
The minivan had New York plate KLR-5829. KRL-5829 and KLR-5289 transpose letters or digits, and New Jersey R47-HXT was the plate of the dark green pickup truck.
Question 7 · Written Comprehension
Answer: D. direct her to sign herself out through the main office
Under paragraph (d), a student 18 or older may sign out but must do so through the main office. The Visitor Log is expressly the wrong record under paragraph (e), no parent is needed for an 18-year-old, and the Early Release Log is kept in the main office, not at the front desk.
Question 8 · Problem Sensitivity
Agent Marisol Vega is assigned to a school's evening spring concert. The auditorium is full, with about 400 people. At 7:15 P.M. she observes the following:
Answer: C. Condition 1
Chaining the rear exit doors (Condition 1) blocks emergency exits in a crowded auditorium, which could trap hundreds of people during a fire or panic. The teenagers (Condition 2) and the returning man (Condition 5) call for monitoring, but neither threatens the whole audience the way blocked exits do, and a bake sale table (Condition 4) is routine.
Question 9 · Inductive Reasoning

| Mon | 3:05 P.M. | Bus Loop | Fight |

| Wed | 10:40 A.M. | 3rd Floor Hallway | Vandalism |
| Fri | 1:25 P.M. | Auditorium | Unauthorized Person |
| Wed | 3:00 P.M. | Bus Loop | Fight |
| Tue | 8:05 A.M. | Main Lobby | Disorderly Conduct |
Answer: C. the bus loop from 3:00 P.M. to 3:30 P.M.
Four of the six fights occurred at the bus loop, all between 3:00 P.M. and 3:10 P.M. The schoolyard had only two fights. The 3rd floor hallway had no fights at all, and nothing happened at the bus loop in the early afternoon.
Question 10 · Information Ordering
Procedure: Person in the Building Without a Visitor Pass. An agent who sees an adult in the building who is not displaying a visitor pass must take the following steps in order:
Answer: D. Notify the Level Supervisor that Mr. Fenton did not sign in
Step 5 states that when the person did not sign in, the agent notifies the Level Supervisor, who decides whether the person may remain. A replacement pass is issued only to someone who did sign in, and having him sign in now makes a decision the procedure leaves to the supervisor. Radioing a direction of travel applies only when the person refuses the escort or walks away.
